The manufacturer-recommended protocol is 2 sessions 4 weeks apart for the starter course, then maintenance sessions every 6 months thereafter. Each session takes 15 minutes: 5 minutes for topical numbing cream to take effect, 5 minutes for the 10 injections (5 per side at the BAP points), and 5 minutes for aftercare counselling.
